Roots in the Tri-Cities
I grew up in Minden and spent about a decade in Kearney: physics at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, then the first four years of my software career at Phynd Technologies in Kearney, working in QA, web development and HL7 healthcare integrations. Tiempo is based in Omaha now, but Central Nebraska is home ground. More on that on the about page.
Local work
B&S Painting and Powerwashing, Minden. Jeremy and Sandra have been in business since 2000 and serve customers across the Tri-City area, almost entirely through referrals. Their only web presence was a Facebook page. Tiempo built a clean, fast WordPress site built for local search, hosted and managed for a flat monthly fee, so referrals and searches turn into estimate requests.
That's the model I default to for small local businesses: simple, fast to load, easy to point a referred customer at, and inexpensive to run.
How I can help
- Websites built for local search for contractors, shops and professional offices.
- Managed IT for small offices: backups, Wi-Fi, servers, and a person to text when something breaks.
- Integrations, including the HL7 healthcare interfaces I started building in Kearney.
- Custom software for operations that have outgrown spreadsheets, and practical AI where it actually pays off.
Remote day to day, here when it counts
Most work happens remotely, by email, phone and screen share, so distance doesn't slow a project down. I travel out to meet clients for kickoffs, walkthroughs and team training.
In English or Spanish
Plenty of Central Nebraska businesses run in two languages, and so do I. We can work in whichever one suits your team. Hablo español.
