The WIFI:T:...;S:...;P:...;; format is a small de facto standard
that several systems read directly:
- NFC tags: write this string to an NTAG215 (or similar) using an NFC writer app, tap a phone to the tag, and most modern Androids will offer to join the network automatically.
- QR codes: encode this string in any QR generator (we have one here) and most modern phone cameras will offer to join when scanned.
- Password managers: paste into a "secure note" for fast recall.
- Printable cards: leave on a guest desk so visitors can type once and stay connected.
Privacy: nothing you type leaves the page. The string is built in your browser; no network call is made.
